We got a set of these guides and we are excited about building our medium-heavy trolling rods with these guides and with a stripper roller guide and roller top, interchangeable aluminum unibutt/curved butt. We get a lot of request for that model. We mostly build salt water rods, and many of them for big fish. It’s awesome to know we don’t have to rely on another manufacturer to get guides of this caliber. What a great addition to the great quality American Tackle products. We will be recommending these to our customers.
I have a few sword fish rods ready for these guides. I cant wait to run some heavy line through these bad boys to land a big broad bill
I love the look of these guides! Not only does American Tackle have quality components, they look great also. I do also like the fact you can get the guides as a set, it takes the guess work out of it for newer builders. We’ve used A/T components for years and have never been disappointed

QUESTION..! Remembering from my machinist days, titanium doesn’t come in black that I recall.. so is the black finish a powder coat or baked on or ??

The Black Titanium is solid titanium frames with a Black Diamond finish over the top. That Black Diamond coating is a relatively new process for us that offers excellent protection, durability and improved color consistency. We use it on select titanium frames and most of our premium SS guide selection.
