We strongly believe in the age-old saying “monkey see, monkey do”, sure we can read all the articles on slow pitch jigging until you’re blue in the face but what better way to get versed than a tutorial from the expert himself, Benny Ortiz. We jumped on a flight to Key West, FL to meet up with Benny for what we thought would be one of those epic fishing trips, catching gag grouper, mutton snapper, and whatever else the keys had to offer all while learning a new tactic to take back home to impress our own community with.
