Details are few, but it has been reported that the Maximus, a very popular charter boat in PV began taking on water for unknown reasons at this time. She sunk off Cedros Island, but the good new is that the 4 crew members aboard at the time were rescued by the tug boat Shannon Dann which was towing part of the space shuttle.
