Grander Marlin Australia Two In One Day While fishing the famed black marlin grounds off of Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, the crew on Hot Shot! had a day they’ll remember for a lifetime. Capt. Ian “Wobbles” Ford and his deckie Ryan “Bobcat” O’Halloran were fishing out of Cairns, Austraila, in early November when they managed to release two black marlin weighing more than 1,000 pounds. While this has been done before, it is extremely rare, with only a handful of captains in the world ever accomplishing such a feat. What we like even more, is this was a husband-and-wife team…
