Salty Roots was established in 2013 by two young watermen, Sean Strahlo and Ryan Hambel. Both Sean (22) and Ryan (24) are native Floridians who come from fish centric families and manifest a deeply rooted passion for the ocean. Between the two of them they share over 30 years of experience on the water and continually strive to push the limits of the sport of fishing and diving. They created Salty Roots to serve as a platform to spread the importance of conservation, travel to new fishing destinations, meet other like minded watermen, and create unique and innovative apparel that anglers and spearos can feel proud wearing.
